9th: Algebra II
10th: "Math Analysis" (I'm still not even sure what that class was-a little of everything I guess)
11th: AP Calc AB (Currently freaking out about the exam)
12th: AP Calc BC (sem1) Differential Equations (sem2) Trig (from a local college) also possibly stats

I'll give both the honors and not honors tracks for my school in NY

Honors:
9th-Geometry
10th-Pre Calc
11th-Calc BC part I
12th-Calc BC part II
so yeah, we stretch calc bc over 2 years, and take the AP at the end of senior year

sr6622, it's not a prerequisite for bc at my school.
if we do well enough in precalc, we can get recommened for bc.
i'm glad about it, though, even if it means more work because i like math and am exciting about getting to take a nerdy!magnet math elective senior.

Up until 11th grade you can sorta see I was on the track at my school to take BC Calc my senior year. However my math grades weren't that good and the BC teacher was a witch (versus the nicest AB teacher ever) so I figured who the heck cares and switched to AB. I decided I'd rather know my foundation in calc really well instead of incessantly worrying over it, and it definetely paid off.

I don't understand why people would take AB cal and then BC cal. I think it's a waste of time. o_0

BC cal - only 1 more chapter than AB cal and is taught more theoretically than AB cal.....so you're basically learning the same thing over again plus one chapter..and taught in a different manner.

9: Geometry
10: Algebra 2 Honors
11: Precalculus/Trigonometry/Mathematical Analysis Honors(dont know what this class is called anymore)
12: Calc AB

California. For an honors sequence, this is pretty basic. Most go to Calc BC or beyond before graduation.

7- math A
8- math A 2, math A 3
9 - math B 5, Math B 4 +6
10- precalc, beg calc, math from algorithmic standpt (college class w/ Mathematica), java 1 +2
11 - AP calc (dont know which yet prob AB), AP comp sci java
12 - ap stat, and college math (my HS is on a college campus)

Why do you AB before BC?
I didn't even take pre-calc in school. (but at a private institution while taking algebra 2 in school)
however, I have no trouble in BC. Just for proof but not to brag we took a final last saturday. I think it was an old AP test, but my teacher won't tell me the year. I got a 87% on the test, and got a definite 5. I think that the AB prerequisite is preposterous. AB is not at all required for BC

"Why do so many school systems skip AB Calculus and go from Precalc straight to Calc BC?"

Because Calculus AB is almost a joke. Very easy stuff with diff and integ, so most schools just go through it real quick, and then spend more time on BC topics(not that many) and finally review.
