Hey CC, I'm currently a sophomore at a HADES boarding school. I'm currently having a little math conflict over deciding what course I should take up. Initially I was placed in Precalculus Honors (this course cover AP Calculus A), but I suppose my previous school didn't cover some of the topics in Algebra 2 and the course was a bit fast paced, so the HOD dropped me to Algebra 2 Honors. The only problem is that I've already taken most of the course and I don't feel like re-taking the entire class over again just so that I can patch a few holes I have in Algebra 2. I was thinking about taking normal Precalculus but I'm planning on taking AP Calculus BC before I graduate. Do you think I could take AP Calculus A over the summer and take up BC in junior year? Or would that be to rash of a decision? Do you know when would be a good time to change math courses also?
