Hey, so in my current school (I'm an eighth grader in Canada) they only have 2 levels of math, core (normal) and extended (advanced) and now, I'm having a bit of trouble choosing which placement test and course I want to choose. For the school I'm going to you have to take a diffrerent placement test fdepending on which math you're currently taking like Algebra or Geometry, and I don't know what to do about this. And I go to an IB school (private). Can anyone here with similar experiences, perhaps, or are familiar with the IB curriculum help me with that? Thanks! Any help would be great!!!

I go to an IB school as well. I took the Algebra I placement test and I’m planning to take the Geometry placement test, but not the Algebra II test as I don’t think we’ve gotten that far yet. I’m in the ninth grade, and we take a mixture of Algebra and Geometry =]

Thanks so much ILOVEPIE! I think that’s what I’ll do too.

For me, it said in the email which test to download and take… o_0
