What math should I take in HS if I'm interested in pursuing architecture?

Hi,
I'm sort of torn on which math to take!

AP Calc BC or AP Statistics!

My gpa is a 3.93 and here are the courses in math that I have taken:

Algebra II/Trig (Honors): A, A+
Pre-Calculus (Honors): A, A
AP Calc AB: B, projected B (I get As, and then I bomb my finals. I have no idea why it only happened this year!)

My AP Calc AB and the AP Calc BC teacher both urged me to take AP Calc BC.

However, my counselor and mom are telling me not to because I have 4 other APs (including a VERY VERY time-consuming AP Art, not hard but it'll eat up my time), 2 varsity sports, other extracurriculars, AND because I'll be a senior, I will have to do apps.

What are your suggestions? DO I REALLY NEED AP CALC BC IN HIGH SCHOOL TO IMPRESS TOP ARCHITECTURE SCHOOLS?

Thanks!

No, but it does show the universities that you're committed to taking a rigorous courseload to take four years of math. Is there a trigonometry class you could take? Because that's what you'll really use the most in architecture is trig and geometry. And if you haven't already taken it, physics helps too.

your first semester of bc will be review, which is really when you need to worry about grades anyway.-- I would take bc and I could be wrong but I think architecture schools in general like students taking calc because it is a different way of thinking( from algebra)- and they really like the “different way of thinking” thing

Keep in mind I just went though the AB junior year-- BC senior year-- (finishing up BC)-- so I may be biased

hmmmm okay! Thanks for the tips!
