SAT: 1810/2400, 1200/1600
GPA: 82 (not sure on the 4.0 scale)
Rank: school doesn't rank
EC's: Club soccer for 8 years, varsity soccer, captain of varsity ski team, some community service, in two other clubs
School: I go to a very prestigious prep school in Concord, MA (I only got in because of soccer); we were ranked 2nd in the state by Boston Magazine, and I'm hoping its prestige will help me.

I live in MA.

I sent in my apps to:

University of San Diego (not the UC)
University of San Francisco (not the UC)
University of the Pacific
University of Redlands
Santa Clara University
Lewis & Clark College

Possibly applying to:
Wake Forest University
UNC
Clemson
Elon

I think the ones I've already sent apps to I have a good shot, but the ones I'm thinking about are mostly reach-far reaches.

What are my chances for most of these schools? Thanks a ton.

University of San Diego- Slight Reach
University of San Francisco- Match
University of the Pacific- Match
University of Redlands- Safe Match
Santa Clara University- Slight Reach
Lewis & Clark College- Match

Thanks a lot. I just realized I forgot “are” in my thread title. I’m dumb.

University of San Diego is my top choice, good thing it’s only a slight reach.

I also got a 10 on my SAT essay if that helps and I should have great recommendations. I wrote my college essay on how their is no challenge in vertically challenged (I’m short).

Any more opinions?

Damn, I don’t like the sound of a 2.8. Luckily, my school doesn’t use the 4.0 scale, so that’s good. Colleges see each individual average per semester.

My top choice is the University of San Diego; I really wanna know my chances there.

With a 2.8, I must say that USD is a big reach. That is well below the average admit GPA.

I don’t know if it makes a difference, but my school doesn’t use the 4.0 GPA scale.
