I agree, that’s weird about Nova. It just shows us how random these college decisions can be. I would chose BC over Nova though, so it’s great that you got into BC (I hope I get in…)

hoopsrock

im not saying i was expecting to get into nova or anything cause i wasnt. i wasnt even expecting to get into BC! im not being arrogant or anything by saying i dont understand how i got into BC EA but denied by nova, im just saying that if anything i would have expected to get into nova before getting into BC seeing as the acceptance rates are ~40% and ~25% respectively. And by getting into BC i would have thought i had a “decent” chance of getting some type of acceptance to nova. BC has been my number once since sophomore year anyway haha so im not really disappointed, just looking for opinions.

And as for you and BC, good luck! youll get your decision on the 26th i believe and i hope its a good one. what do you think your chances are?

i got into nova ea but i don’t think my chances for bc are that good. it is definitely my reach school and i would definitely go here if i get in. i just thought it was weird that you didn’t get into nova because it seems to me as though bc is more selective and that if you got into bc, then nova would be an almost sure thing. just goes to show how you can never predict how college admissions will pan out.

in the meantime, i wonder if the letters actually did go out yesterday…

Barnard, Amherst, Duke, Haverford, and half of the Ivies :D. I figure that if I don’t try, I won’t get in at all. If I try, I have at least one good chance of getting in, either through luck or merit.

EDIT: Make that 5/8 Ivies: Brown, UPenn, Yale, Columbia, and Princeton.
