<p>I seriously doubt Brown tracks if their applicants and admittees are vals/sals. They don’t care much. And you shouldn’t place emphasis on that either. I was 10th or 12th in my HS and I got into Brown.</p>

<p>Brown does track how many vals/sals get in. Its on their admission statistics page. I was only curious to how many of them apply early decision and get in. Thanks though, I appreciate your input!</p>

<p>I’ve never seen stats broken out for ED. I’d assume the stats for RD are the same as for ED.</p>

<p>No the stats for RD and ED are way different. Acceptance rates for ED are much higher.</p>

<p>^In large part because of recruited athletes. One would not be hurt by assuming the numbers are the same, since they’re much closer than the raw percentages would seem.</p>
