I know there is a sticky, but I want more insight on what books are good for my courses. Here is a list of what exams I will be taking

AP US Gov (will be taking honors in school, so self study)
AP Stats
AP Euro
AP Physics C: both M and E&M
AP English Lit
AP Comp Gov - I already have Ethel Woods, do I need anything else? I am self-studying for this btw.
AP Human Geo - already have barrons (self study), do I need a textbook?

Well, except AP English classes; all prep books do for those is outline the test, give you a lot of vocab, and include a couple practice tests. Hopefully your English teacher gives you enough practice for the test in class.

And depending on your teacher, you may not even need a prep book. Especially for your math course.

I find prep books really helpful and I have always used them in my previous AP classes to do well in the class and on the exam. Thanks, any more opinions?

ethel woods is all you need for comparative government.
i haven't gotten my scores back but i will let you know. i only read half of that book and felt pretty good after the test. however, i did take international business and Model United Nations, which did make a difference since one of our essay question was on transparency and many kids didn't know what it was but that is a major issue in MUN..haha
ethel woods + world knowledge is the way to go.
if you want a 5...you should have knowledge of the world to pull examples from as well.
