I've seen a lot of strange things listed as ECs and now I'm starting to wonder what actually counts as an EC?<br>
I've seen people listing 'reading' - is that legitimate? It seems like something everyone does. Other kind of...strange things that I wouldn't normally consider an extra curricular. So I'm wondering if there is some sort of definition?</p>
<p>For example...I am a part of an online community, somewhat like CC actually in that its forum based, but its a lot smaller and its relating to a specific interest of mine...I spend a significant amount of time on there answering questions and helping people get started, I've written tutorials and such. The thought of calling it an EC had never even crossed my mind until I read some of the other posts on this site...I feel like it would be silly to list this, but is it common to do it?</p>
<p>What are your thoughts? Is there a way to define an extracurricular?</p>
