I've been so busy with school and tests and my father's passing lately that I don't know what to do about the interview. Can't focus worth crap and I don't want to make up answers on the spot... what sort of things should I expect? If I didn't interview would it hurt me? He knows my father just died and all and "understands" and claimed he'd write a note to Princeton about it but who knows...

I have an interview on Tuesday as well. I'm not doing too much preparing, but I'd expect:

-Why do you like Princeton?
-What activities/accomplishments/courses have been your favorite?
-What do you think about [insert current event]
-What do you like do to for fun?
-What do you want to do in college?

etc.

General questions like "Why Princeton? What are your goals? What would you want to study? What do you want to do while you're here?"

Then more specific ones like "Tell me something about your background. Where do you come from? What have your experiences been like thus far? Why should we pick you? What can you bring to the community that's unique from others?"

The rest just goes off of your own interests/questions. Have them ready, because they will want to answer your questions. They'll ask.
