Kind of going off that other thread: when you meet with college admissions officers, or an interviewer, or an alumni, what specific questions have you asked them? Please state the school name and the question. You can answer it if you want. Oh and also you can rate your own question on a scale of 1-5 (5 being great, 1 being stupid) on how unique/good it was for a question. And also if you want, give others feedback on whether their questions were ridiculous or decent or actually intriguing.

I'll start:

1) Northwestern--can I apply to Medill and HPME? (answer: "no", I think i already knew that, just asked a question for the sake of asking something, so I'd rate this a 2.)

2) Tufts--what do you look for in a potential applicant? (1: it was just a really awkward session with 5 ppl and the lady kept asking us if we had any questions and there'd be these long awkward pauses so i just asked something to get her talking. i'm probably not even applying there.)

3) MIT--I asked the alumni rep if it was common to major in the humanities at MIT. He told me "yeah, ppl do it all the time" and then he told us about how he majored in Literature. and then one of the kids at the session said something along the lines of: "yeah but look where you ended up! i bet ppl in your class became big-shot engineers and researchers but you're just an admissions officer! i'd rather major in something worthwhile." haha yeah, then it just got really, super-awkward, lol. so i guess that question would be a 1 too.
