I have thought maybe we should have a challenge - post your junk drawer before cleaning out and AFTER cleaning out - as an ode to the “bag a week” thread!

A lot of that type of stuff (flashlights, rubber bands, duct tape, tape measure, small tools) live on DH’s workbench just outside the door to our garage, not in the house. All utensils live in a holder (large garden pot) on my kitchen counter. I keep pencils and small office supplies (tape dispenser, stapler, etc.) organized on the counter next to my computer. The closest thing I have to a junk drawer is the one I use for foil, plastic wrap, and sandwich bags.
Clutter gives me the willies.

I love the term, junk drawer. I have one where I shove everything in and constantly felt guilty about not sorting it out. Now, I can just call it junk drawer and no guilt.

Years ago I gave up the drawer for an over the door shoe organizer - I can actually find stuff now! And I realized taking the pic, I have 3 empties!
