I am a junior in high school and I am planning to go into either mechanical or electrical engineering in college. I am already planning to take the sat subject math II test. Should I take any other subject tests? I took both APUSH and AP Language this year and I hear that the sat subject tests for those subjects can be worth it. Is it it worth it to take those to get into conpetetive engineering programs?
Well, usually colleges like to see 2 subject SATs. MIT for example, since you are interested in competitive engineering programs, want to see one science and one math. So in this case, it is best to take a subject test in Chem or even better Physics. Occasionally, there will be school that want 3 subject tests, like Georgetown. In that case, you want to take one language or social science subject test. Probably no need to take both US History and English.
