I am planning on majoring in computer engineering at a UC college, preferably UCLA, and I know that they highly recommend math and science SAT Subject Tests for engineering majors. Is it okay if I take Math Level 2 and Chemistry tests? Also, I think I would get a high score if I took the Japanese subject test, but is it worth taking it considering my major?
The only good thing about taking the subject test in japanese would be that it shows diversity. The Math and Chem tests are a good idea. What I would say though is definitely do NOT take more than 2 tests in the same sitting. I made the mistake of taking 3 in one sitting (the maximum allowed; Math 2, Chemistry, and world history, and my brain was fried by the second test. I know the chem one has like 80 questions and u have an hr to do it.
Okay I probably won’t take the Japanese test then, I got a 5 on my AP Japanese test and now that I think about it, it might seem a little redundant. But I will definitely take the math and chemistry ones!
