I got in my ED school and my financial aid include student contribution of 2400 per yr and work study 2800 annually. I want to apply for some scholarship to replace work study. Anybody know what scholarship are still there for a high school senior? any input is appreciated.

Many local scholarships (from foundations, businesses, churches, etc.) have late winter/early spring deadlines - check at your guidance office, most will have lists of the local scholarships.

Be aware that if you get a scholarship, some schools will use it to replace an institutional grant first before they use it to replace work-study.

Check the “outside scholarship” policy at your school!

Besides which, work-study is fun! Builds character. And, if you get a job at the reception desk or library reference desk, you have lots of time to do your schoolwork.

thanks all. I checked they will use outside scholarship for ws study then their grants.
