<p>For those in-state students on CC, what schools in Maryland do you attend? Don't give me that "That is private information" bs. It is an anonymous community forum.</p>

<p>I'll start: Laurel High School in PG County.</p>

<p>I've been to Blair High School. I remember I had a football scrimmage with Blair's football team but it rained on that afternoon so we had to be rushed into the cafeteria. Nice cafeteria:). Didn't you guys have a rape incident recently? I think I heard about something like that.</p>

<p>I don't remember, but a couple of years ago a student was killed by her bf with a shot to the head because they were fighting.</p>

<p>Poolesville HS in MoCo - yeah nobody's ever heard of us and if they have, they probably think of cows, farms, etc. I'm part of the Global Ecology program there and it is freaking awesome. We go on about 2 field trips a month and go on overnight trips. The schedule isn't that restricting because we only have to take a couple requirement courses to get the Global certificate. School is small, which is great for sports opportunities (minimal cuts haha) and small class sizes once you get to the higher classes (AP Physics 13 people, Multivar 9 people). Drama club is amazing. Poolesville has two new programs this year, a math (modeled after Blair and next year half of the people accepted into the math program will go to Poolesville) and a humanities program (don't know too much about that). There is also some engineering program that came in a couple years ago. There are a few cons of Pville though: minimal diversity (although that will certainly change as more math magnets come in) and conservative administration.</p>
