I’m planning on staying instate and just wanted to know which school has students that end up with the highest gpas and mcat scores? Which school is the best overall fpr premed?
That’s not really the right questions.
The most selective schools, have the best students, who have the highest GPA’s and MCAT scores. However, that doesn’t matter for you, what matters to you is your GPA and MCAT score!
I posted this earlier in another thread:
Number of applicants to U.S. Med schools(2014)
- UCLA = 919
- Michigan = 825
- UC-Berkeley =769
- UF =760
- UT-Austin = 733
…
UGA = 481
UNC-CH = 394
USF = 316
UCF=286
FSU = 265
GT= 191
UA = 150
FAU=107
As you can see UF, USF, UCF, FSU, and FAU all generate a decent amount of med school applicants. Pick your school based on major, fit, academics, ECs, programs (honors, etc.) and cost (just like any other student).
Good Luck!
But what is that list supposed to mean? Is the higher the number good or bad?
Stupid question^… I got it. Thanks
