What school(s)?

Hi all,

I am trying to figure out my major(s) in college. I was interested in sports management and business, but I heard a sports management major is a waste of time. I was wondering if this was true. And based on that, I was wondering if I should not do a sports management major, maybe major in business and minor in sports management or vice versa or if I should consider double majoring in both. And if I was to do one of these, i was wondering which school offered them.

@albert69 my goal is to work with a sports team, maybe work as a coach, but my primary goal is to work in the world of sports if that helps

@CathJR does syracuse have a double major or what? Sorry I am a little confused by what you meant.

You asked what schools offered sports management and/ or business, and I answered a school that does. If this is what you are interested in you should take it upon yourself to do some research.

I don’t know the specifics. All I know is that Syracuse has both a sports management major and a business school. I don’t know if you can double major in them because in some instances Syracuse limits how students can double major. You’d have to look into that yourself. They probably have minors in both as well.
