<p>I am interested in marketing and advertising as a future career. My application starts in less than a year and I need some real advice on the top schools for these majors. I would like to take all universities in any country. A list of 5 would suffice.
I've heard that the top schools for marketing/advertising were: dartmouth, upenn, michigan, texas in austin and uc berkeley.</p>
<p>Most top schools do not have an undergraduate business program. In my view, there are only two u/g business majors that are worth anything: Acctg and Finance.
If Mktg or Advertising is your future, consider majoring in English and/or Psychology - then get an MBA. Dartmouth double major in English & Psychology with an MBA from Wharton = marketable.</p>
<p>I work in the advertising division of a large marketing company - many staffers here studied a combination of journalism/literature/film/business.</p>
