response to thesiren:
I dont know about everyone, but all of the people I know who applied to 10+ schools were very well off, and did not need financial aid (3 ppl I know applied to 14 schools). maybe thats just my experience, but many people like me (in my experience) who need financial aid are encouraged by parents to narrow our college lists because of the application costs at high profile schools ($50-65)

I'm not sure on the final list, but here are the ones that I will apply to no matter what:

Yale University
University of Florida
Johns Hopkins University
Duke University

And here are the ones that I am considering but am not sure of at this point:
Dartmouth College
Princeton University
Harvard University
Pennsylvania
Rollins College
University of Chicago
Georgetown University
Washington University

^^^ Thats not very smart...thats like all Reaches and one not so great safety..good luck. (im referring to the last post on the previous page..damnit i always go onto the next page)

theres really no other colleges that i want to go to.

plus, my parents are like "if you dont get into top college, you might as well get full scholarship to state school" so thats also why theres no real "match colleges"

-Wake Forest
-USC (Cali, not South Carolina)
-GW
-UW-Madison
-UMich

I'm probably only applying to these 5. I may apply to Northwestern, as it is Common App, or maybe Penn State, if I don't get into UW-Madison right away.

I want to major in chemistry and minor in either german or geology. Probably geology.

My number one school right now is Columbia. I'm still really iffy on the rest of my list, though. I know I wanna do ED at Columbia and if I'm deferred or rejected my safety school under RD stuff will be NCSU
