what schools can i get into

<p>Right now I am a junior in High School in New York City. I messed up in school the first 3 semesters having like a 71 Avg. Ya i no thats bad. i was at one of the top schools in the city so my parents transfered me out mid year. I went to another pretty good school and i have been there since. I have gotten a 91 avg or 3.6 gpa over the last year plus and its raised my gpa to a 2.7 now. It will continue to go up, especially since i get my first assesment from this semester, i got a 94 avg so far, hope it continues. </p>

<p>I have taken practince SAT's and im getting better each time because im taking a course.
1st- 1700
2nd-1810
3rd-1890 </p>

<p>so i mean i hope i can get it up to 1950 by the real thing in may.
My EC are
Captain of the Chess Team (Led them to Nationals)
Intership at Councilmembers office in NYC
Counselor at camp last 2 years
Varsity starter on Baseball Team (last year came in third for city championships)
100 plus volunteer hours at a bunch of different places around the city</p>

<p>I put the stuff in perenthesis hoping that counts for something</p>

<p>Apply to a good number of match schools because the application process is getting much more competitive.

<p>im looking for a good journalism school, anything of that kind really. I mean if its a good school and it doesnt have journalism I would be fine, because im just a junior and I like everybody else dont really know what i want to do. Im open to anything really Thanks!</p>
