Hey guys! What schools do you think that I could get into? I would specifically like to know my chances for Notre Dame (for Pre-Med), but any other schools you think I could be a competitive applicant at. (I’m a rising junior).
GPA: 4.19 (I know that it’s low, but that’s because I took 6 high school credit courses in middle school, and, therefore got no boost. However, I have gotten all A’s with the exception of a B in Math Analysis and a B+ in Pre-AP World History. Please know that these courses were taken freshman year, and I got all A’s sophomore year. My GPA will go up by the end of my junior year, as I’m taking 4 AP courses).
SAT: 2200
Completed Math Courses: Algebra I- Calculus AB
Completed Science Courses: Biology H, Chemistry (there’s no honors option)
Completed Foreign Language Course: German 1- 3, Latin 1- 4
Athletics: Member of the CoEd Varsity Cross Country and Track and Field teams for 2 seasons so far; 2nd Degree Blackbelt, summer community swim team
Job Experience: Jr. Coach for my community’s youth cross country team (this is technically a volunteer position, but I thought it showed leadership), my school’s leadership team (requires a nomination to join), PEER (another school leadership team, however only 16 students from the entire school are admitted, and it requires a nomination, then an application and interview), intern at a Naval Base for 8 weeks (paid)
Volunteer: Over 120 hours, mostly tutoring in math, but also random volunteer activities
Clubs: Math Honor Society, HOPE Club, Co-founder of the Science Review Club, German Club, Future Educators of America
I have also taken every challenging course offered to me. I plan to take Calculus BC, Multi-Variable Calculus, AP Biology, Physics, (another AP Science–either physics or chemistry, I can’t decide), AP Language and Composition, Duel Enrollment Literature, and AP Psychology.
