What schools in the Northeast are like Cornell?

i would keep Union on the list as well. I was very impressed with Union when i visited. It's a beautiful campus with a really cool housing system. Academics are also top notch there as well.

Brown is very selective, but it's a wonderful school. I also love Rhode Island. It's up to you to decide whether or not you'd want to apply there.

FYI, i didnt eliminate U of R just because of the food, lol. In the end, i just wasn't very impressed. I was debating whether or not to apply. My friends that go there aren't exactly beaming about how wonderful the school is. Seems like my other friends at different schools had much better things to say about their college. I'd rather take my $44,000 a year elsewheres. But yeah, sucky food isn't cool!

gomestar, do you have any info on JHU, Brandeis, Boston U, Tufts, Lehigh, etc? (basically all my out of NY schools)

eh, i dont have much info on those schools. The only reason i know quite a bit about the other schools was because they were pretty much my backups. I sort of looked at JHU, but not enough to give you useable information on it.

In the end, Cornell rules anyways.

well you know i know that....i have to have a list though.....if i must use plan B (meaning i wont get accepted ED cornell)
