What schools seem good to get to Med School?

I would like to go to Medical School after I graduate college, but I’m not sure what schools seem good for Med school. I know most of the UC’s seem good, but what are some other schools?

How about the route of going to community college? Is it looked down upon when trying to apply for medical school? This seems like the best possible route for me since my grades were not too well. The only UC’s that I would get into are UCM and UCR.

My plan is to go to a CCC, transfer to UC Davis, and apply to medical school. How does that sound? Would going to a CSU be any better such as CSUF?
