I am a sophomore at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, MI. My top choice is University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, but if I don't get in there, I was wondering if anyone here had any advice for schools to consider transferring to with my particular stats, interests, etc.

Desired Major: Classical Studies/Archaeology
Desired Minor: Linguistics, History, Philosophy

Stats:
HS GPA: 3.5 from public high school in Ann Arbor, MI
HS Extracurriculars: Not many. Didn't do much. Latin Club, Muslim Student Association (even though I am white/atheist - did it just for some perspective)

College GPA: 3.86
Credits: 41 right now, 56 by the end of Winter 2011 semester
Standing: Honors College, Dean's List for 2 semesters
Courses: 3 semesters foreign language; courses in Philosophy, History, Astronomy, Art History, Psychology, Archaeology, Math, Linguistics, Econ, Political Science, English Comp, and Classical Lit

College ECs: Docent at University of Michigan Archaeology Museum, private tutoring in Greek, cello lessons/volunteer in cello program at University of Michigan hospital, Eastern Michigan University Honors Student Association member

Other details: worked for three months in Italy as an au pair; fluent in Italian & French

Like I said, Michigan is my first choice and I am waiting to hear back, but what do you think are some other schools whose transfer profile/admissions I might fit into? Preferably ones with strong Classics programs.

Thank you!
