What score of mine is better?

What Score is better to submit to colleges? In your opinions.. I will take both tests again probably 2 more times each.. just want advice between these 2 scores though! Thanks

28 ACT
30 Math
30 English
23 Reading
29 Science

1910 SAT
740 Math
610 Reading
560 Writing

The college I want to get into has this information listed:

SAT Critical Reading: 580 / 670
SAT Math: 590 / 690
SAT Writing: 570 / 670

ACT Composite: 26 / 31
ACT English: 25 / 31
ACT Math: 25 / 31

Honestly these scores are amazing and I see no need to take them again unless your trying to boost the ACT

Appreciate the compliment  but my philosophy is that there is always room to improve. Plus a higher score wouldn’t hurt… it could only help for scholarships. But my question was which one would be better to submit for the application.

+Thanks+

Honestly, I’d send both. Your Math SAT is killer but your ACT shows some consistency

The ACT is probably the “better” score to submit. You are within the middle 50% for your composite, English, and math. On the SAT, your total is above the middle 50% but you have one section in the bottom 25% and another section barely in the middle 50%.

On the ACT you don’t have anything in top 25%, but you don’t have a score in the bottom 25% either.

I actually don’t think I can send both. I know I can CERTAINLY improve my SAT Writing score by 100 points no doubt (to a 660)… I did not study for writing last time unfortunately. I may be able to boost my reading only by 20-40 points max… For the ACT, I have no idea how I got a 28, I completely thought I got a 20 on the science section. I may be able to improve the ACT 1-2 pts MAX… Haha I do hear that colleges, esp. on the East Coast put less weight on the Writing section (too bad I can’t ACTUALLY verify this).

I would probably go ahead and send the SAT, unless the school you’re looking at requires SAT2s and you’re not planning to take any (since most schools take the ACT in lieu of the SAT+SAT2 combo).

For score-conversion reference, I would take a look at [Compare ACT and SAT Scores | ACT](http://www.act.org/solutions/college-career-readiness/compare-act-sat/)
