what should i be doing junior year?

I am a sophomore now. And what should I do next year. I already chose my classes and got into 1 honors class which was German 3. I would have gotten in honors chem, but my math grade wasnt high enough. Also, honors english but the class was already filled up. I have a 3.0 or 90 average, not that many ec's, and lots of service by the time a graduate. Also last year I had a 2.5 gpa, which is an 82 at my school. So this year has been a huge improvement for me. If i keep my grades up for the rest of my high school career and get good SAT scores, what colleges do you think I can go to? And btw, I live in NJ. Im interested in anything in the east, and some west. Also, I want to go to a school that is into its sports. And I think i want to major in psychology or accounting, maybe something else. I havnt really decided. So my main questions are....

What should I be doing junior and senior year?
What colleges would you suggest if I keep my grades up?
Is it too early too even think about this stuff yet?

Keep your grades up

Take the SATs first and get a 2200+ or as high as you can get

It's not too early to think about colleges but it is too early to ask about your chances at colleges without any test scores or junior GPA.

If you get a 4.0 junior year, write good essays, and get a 2100+, you can probably be looking at Top 25's. Most schools won't look at freshman year or weight it heavily so 4.0 + 3.0 = 3.5 overall gpa. Your great essays and rising trend and SAT score will push you into Top 25's and maybe even a lower Ivy or two.

Concentrate on your grades/SATs for now.

What are your prospective colleges?

By the way, keep that average 90 at its current or a higher level. Yet I do not think that a 3.0 GPA is considered "high", since most applicants have 3.75+ at least, perhaps you mean to say 4.0?

My advice to you study as much as you can for the PSATS. Then when you take them you can get a good score and can get those scholarships they offer. But for those you have to get good grades. And personally junior year has been the best for me socially wise so dont forgot to have fun in that department.

And start studying for the SATs as always. Try to find all the free programs and free tests that are offered in your area. Take advantage of those. And if you are close to NYC they have free programs such as OPTIONS(20 dollar deposit). Look into those.

And it is never too early since all of high school matters and junior year the most.

In addition to what other people say, look for scholarships. The thing I realized most this year was how many scholarships are open to juniors and yet most don't know it. This puts you at an advantage if you have the time to apply for them.
