What should I do about this teacher?

First yes I realize this is all my fault.

Okay so my Pre Calclus teacher is a BIG TIME push over. So I haven't been doing my homework and stuff in there so my grade isn't good. So I realized that if I can get my get my grade up to a 74 and do really good on the final I could get my grade up to a B. However this push over is starting to push back.

He offers extra credit for our class and max is +5 so I wrote this big report and everything and he only gave me a +3. I really needed that +5 and also I did test corrections and he didn't change them like AT ALL! Also we had a final study participating grade and I finished my study guide early then sent the next class period helping others, and he gave me an 8/10!! My grade right now is a 70 I just need to get it up a couple of more points and since tests are worth 50% I need to get those extra +2 points.

So what should I do PS we only have like one more day of class left

sorry, I give you credit for admitting that you got yourself into this situation, now you learn a hard lesson and no more slacking. Consider yourself fortunate that it’s even an option that with a 74 and a great final you could possibly end up with a B. Here’s to a better next semester.

its a lesson you take to you in college. don’t do homework, don’t get good grades

Why are you complaining about your grade if you didn’t do the work?

Moreover, how is your PreCalc teaching being a ‘BIG TIME push over’ relevant at all? Did you think he’d just raise your grade to an A if you asked or something?

^Well in one week my grade went up 10points. So yeah he’s a pushover. And bout the hw thing I told him (and he agreed) that it was pointless to do it

Just ask nicely if you’re very close if he could bump it up a little, but after the test before grades are due.

We aren’t allowed to talk to teachers about our grades after finals that’s fair reason for a teacher to bump u done a grade
