what should I do? (again)

My son was dismissed from SAT test yesterday because he did not lay his pencil down immediately after the proctor said to do so. He is concerned this will be recorded. He only completed 4 sections of the 10. Will the score automatically be cancelled or does he need to file a 'Request to Cancel Test Scores' form before this Wednesday? Will he be recorded?
(he asked the supervisor if he needed to file a form to cancel the score after he was dismissed from SAT, the supervisor told him not need, the score would be canceled and no unfavorable record). I have been worrying about this so much.

Thank you.

The matrix is glitching?

He wrote 2 more seconds when the proctor said to lay down the penci (the first section)l, the proctor said he would report if it happened again. My son didnt lay down the pencil immediately when the proctor said to do so (the 4th section), but he didnt write at all. Then the proctor asked the supervisor if my son could continue the test. Kid was dismissed from SAT after the proctor talking with the supervisor. My son asked the supervisor if he needed file a form to cancel his score before leaving test center, and if he would be recorded, the supervisor told him no need, the score would be canceled, and would not be recorded. But I still worry about it. What I care about most is if he will have a bad record. He is pretty a good student.

I highly doubt they will do anything, since his scores were canceled because he didn’t finish. I am pretty sure CB doesn’t even do anything as far as a report goes to those who are caught cheating after they finish the test. Don’t worry about it, but make sure your son realizes that they take things like that seriously. At first I was kind of shocked that he was dismissed, but after you said he did it twice, it was a little less shocking. It is better to get 1 questions wrong or miss a word in an essay than to get your scores canceled.

Thanks for sharing your opinion with me. I feel better now. I called CB this morning what they told me just like what you said here.

Yes, my son will learn a lot from this experience, it was the first SAT for him, he felt so bad after dismissing from SAT, he has set his heart on going a good college, he studies hard. Now what he can do is try his best to have a well prepare for next SAT.

Thanks again.
