What should I do concerning AP classes?

Hi, I'm new on this site, and I hope I'm posting on the right forum here. Anyways, I am a junior in high school, and my possible future career, at least for the time being, is to be a scientist and conduct my own research, which I'm not sure if I need a PhD or a Master's degree for. Right now, my planned schedule for senior year is Japanese, some AP/ACP English class, AP Biology, AP Physics, AP Calc, AP Stats, and a study hall. However, I'm not sure if I want to take both AP Calc and Stats, or if I want to take AP Physics or not. I definitely know that I will take Japanese, English, AP Biology, study hall, and at least one AP math class. I do like science, and math is okay-ish for me. Suggestions?

Which AP Physics and which AP Calc?

I’m confused as to what you’re asking.

@epikvocaloid AP Calc AB or BC? Physics I? Physics II?

AP Calc AB or BC? AP Physics 1/AP Physics 2/AP Physics C Mech/AP Physics C E&M?

Oh, AP Calc AB and AP Physics AB. I haven’t taken any AP Calc or Physics class before.

OK, I think it’s OK. That said, I don’t know how much AP Statistics and AP Physics will help you in your future endeavors. AP Physics 1 (there is no AP Physics AB) is relevant for pre-med, but most physical science majors will need calculus-based physics. Similarly, for research, you’d really need a college level calc-based stats course. However, from a course rigor perspective for college applications, you’re covered (assuming you’ve met your prospective colleges’ recommendations in social studies and fine arts).

If it comes down to a choice, take calculus over statistics.
