What should I do this summer? I have these options..

ok its for the summer of my junior year...

1) Internship at the University of Pennsylvania (for business most likely, though its random because its like, business interest out of nowhere, but I am interested)
2) Brown University Pre-College (kind of just for a taste of college life)
3) Interlochen Performing Arts Camp (goes with my interests)
4) Berklee College Music Session (goes with my interests)
5) Teach English in another country (goes with my interests)

i know some of these aren't selective, and aren't selective as things like risd lol but out of these options which would look best on a resume for college? and does anyone have any other recommendations?

I’d go with one that goes with your interests. The performing arts or music program both sound like they’d be a lot of fun, and it’s something you enjoy.

I think going to another country is the best; too many people do music.

I wish I had those opportunities… they are all amazing

either business or the teaching english thing depending on what country. music is sort of lame unless that’s what you want to major in… even still though almost everyone does music.

jw, what country would you be teaching in?

You have tough choices. I would say the internship, but you made it clear business is totally unrelated to your interests. The teaching in another country thing sounds more like you are privileged and affluent than an actual passion for doing it.
The art and music things sound rather mundane and unimpressive, but then again I don’t know much about them.
You would probably enjoy the Brown summer program the most and you can take classes that relate to whatever interests you may have. If you plan on applying to Brown, then its even better.

Do the thing you are most passionate about and will be the most fun for you. Good things will follow as your enthusiasm will attract opportunities to you. Whatever you do, do not do anything just because it looks good on a college application. Good luck!

I would do 1) Internship at the University of Pennsylvania, but don’t let me affect your choice.
