What Should I Do?

Hey everybody. I will be a senior in high school next year and I need some advice. I'm probably going to attend Michigan State University, and I found out that they have this program called James Madison College. It's a degree granting residential college focused on public policy. It offers four majors, but the one I'm interested in is Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy. James Madison has smaller class sizes, and allows students to get to know their professors well. It seems interesting and seems like it would prepare me well for law school. Has anybody heard about this program?

The problem that I have, however, is that the program is supposed to be very difficult. I found an article that talks about this. No Grade Inflation at James Madison College | The John William Pope Center for Higher Education Policy Would it be better to enroll in this program and risk getting a lower gpa, or should I just major in regular Political Science and (most likely) get a higher gpa?

Nobody could give you a straight answer to that. Choose the path that will give you the most rewarding college experience.

Do you have to commit to one or the other? Or can you take just one or two classes from James Madison to see if it’s for you or not? That would be optimal if possible.
