What Should I Major In?

After college, I would like to work as a biomedical engineer. However, a lot of the colleges that I am interested do not offer a specific major called "biomedical engineering" or "bioengineering." In that case, what should I major in in my undergraduate studies? Biomedical sciences, mechanical engineering, etc?

Thanks in advance for any responses!

If you want to get into an engineering field, it is wisest to start from a Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Biomedical Engineering researchers come from all over though so Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering would all do fine.
