What song most represnts your application essays?

i'd say mine would have to Missy Elliot's "Lose Control." They're eclectic, vibrantly energetic, and really me.

like a virgin - madonna

I think D's experience so far has to be "Highway to Hell."

I Got My Mind Set On You. :)

For S I would say, "Tomorrow" or "School's Out for Summer"

psychotic reaction

It's Raining Men

or

YMCA

;)

I'm writing my essay on the gay straight alliance.

"Drops of Jupiter" by Train

My essays are really "out there," lol

"I will survive" lol

"another one bites the dust"

"Wake me when September Ends"...yeah I need to actually start working on mine, hopefully before September is done

"Home" - Michael Buble. Not the words, but the tone...

LOL at ares153. Awesome choice of "Another One Bites the Dust". I would've chosen that if I'd remembered it.

"PIMP" - 50 Cent

That song "Lose Control" was in my mind allll day during school, and I couldn't stop fidgeting cuz I was in this dancing mood. And then some kids saw me and they were like 'what the hell are u doing' and i told them that the song was on my mind .. and then we spent 1/2 of class period trying to sing all of the lyrics. school is so useless, who can actually concentrate 7 hrs straight ..

Sugar Magnolia by the Grateful Dead.

"Vincent" by Don McClean. I wrote my essay on mental illness, but it has a positive outlook!

Each application was just Another Brick in the Wall :D

Heh, sucharita took mine. We don't need no education.

I'll go with "Road to Joy" by Bright Eyes.

We should make a thread like this when admit/rejects come out. I've already thought of a few good rejection songs.

Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day
I Hate Everything About You by Three Days Grace
Sleeping In by The Postal Service

Look on the bright side: I'll be pumping "Celebration" when the admission letters come in!

Some others: "I'm a Happy Girl," "It's a Great Day to Be Alive" and "Zippedee Doo Dah" :)

Easy/Lucky/Free by Bright Eyes

Because essays are really easy... I'm lucky to do them (have the opportunity to go to college and pay the fees), and with its completion I will be free.

..right
