I can’t think of a moment at any time, any day when I don’t have a song or music in my head. Sometimes, just a segment repeats and loops over and over and over. It drives me absolutetly crazy! 8-}
Right now, I have “Superstitious” by Stevie Wonder in my head (looping, of course). I suppose it could be worse.
@myactualname Okay, so I least I had the full song of Hunger Strike by Temple of the Dog is my head this morning until I watched the video from “Rather Be”. Now, I have this looping segment in my head, “No, no, no, no place I rather be.” I blame you, hahaha :-*
“To Dream the Impossible Dream” from Man of La Moncha is the earworm that has sickened me the past few days. Saw the play as a 13-year-old with my parents, and I often heard the song played in the '60s on the old-fogey radio station they tuned into during evenings/weekends. I’m way past my teens but I’m glad to still have something for which to blame my parents!
I started off this morning with “Hold On” by Wilson Phillips (a carryover from what I heard on the 90’s SXM channel last night coming home from class), but now it changed to “You Might Think” by the Cars after reading another thread on CC. Too bad I don’t have a knob on the side of my neck, like Frankenstein, to switch the music off… I NEED SILENCE!!!
Part of So Much Better from Legally Blonde, thanks to a certain teenage Japanese exchange student who sings this incessantly when ever he comes to visit.
@mstee Hahaha, I just watched the video from the musical/play… super fun, yet irritatingly catchy :D/ If it ever comes back to the US, I’ll definately try to see it. I have to admit that the Legally Blonde movie itself is one of my guilty (pun intended) pleasure flicks and “Perfect Day” is now echoing between my ears, eating away at my brain slowly… %-(
California Dreamin’ by Scala & Kolacny Brothers from the Powerball commerical that keeps playing over and over on GMA this morning because the jackpot is up to $250 million.
