yes, it is my second language. I'm not that suprised that I'm bad in english and history actually, all the men in my family have done bad in these subjects. Mostly do well in math and science

Yeah it seems that people with English as second language really suck but they very good at math/science. Case in Point: MEE and You....That is one reason I am gonna struggle on the SATs. The Danm CR and Writing Sections.

LOVE: chemistry
HATE: english

I'm so glad english isn't compulsory next year!! I dont really suck at it or anything.. it's just SO boring. just analysing novels and poetry (i hate poetry) makes me so sleepy.

yeah, I didnt do well on verbal and writing in the sat's. But I still got into my first choice school so I'm fine with it. What I'm worried about is that im gonna have the same problems as my other family members, they did well in science and math, but come mcats they all bombed verbal. Im talking about 12's on math and science and 6 and 7's in verbal, this caused them to go to either out of country med schools or made them wait an extra year or two.

Love: Psych!, history classes, bio

Hate: physics, chem, english as a subject, gov as a subject

Math is somewhere in between

I say eng/gov as a subject because I really enjoy the class, I just hate the subject itself.

I hate AP U.S. History II; the teacher is ridiculously liberal (as are many in my class). He let us change our seats about a month ago, and it's funny, because (the seats are arranged in a u-shape, and on one side, it's all the conservatives (except for one liberal), and the other side is solidly liberal, while the middle is just a mix. When debates begin, it's funny, because it's always one side versus the other. The class, overall, however, is ridiculously boring, and the teacher's monotony, I am certain, is deleterious to my health. Every time he says something, he looks at us as if we should have some incredible reaction, though we usually have nothing to say, and we just stare back at him. I hate that class, even though I love history...Just not my teacher...

I also hate AP Bio., as my teacher focuses his time into telling us how he's superior to all of us and how we will fail the exam unless we strive to be him.

I hate gym class, because we're currently doing aerobics, and my gym teacher, whom we think is a pervert, is a certified instructor...so he does it in front of us...and we have to do it in the filthy wrestling room on those sweat-stained mats...ew...

My favorite class is probably AP Language & Composition. My teacher is quite politically incorrect, and it's all very candid. She's very hard with grading our essays, but we usually have other things that we just get credit for doing. My teacher is also in charge of the debate team, which I have been on since my freshmen year, and as a freshmen, I had her for Public Speaking. I also currently have her for Debate class, too. It's funny, because half the time we're not even doing very serious things...We do lit. terms presentations, and my teacher loves when people bring in food (even though she's not heavy, she enjoys eating a great deal). The class is just very enjoyable, and it holds one's attention.

dislike Cath.Christianity but im working at it
need to work on once again english

iv always hated history but this year i have a great ap european history teacher that makes the lessons interesting. I like history now even tho i have a low B

I love English. The class, the work, the teacher, the people, everything. It is like social interaction.

HATE: US history
LOVE:...................................................................um............................................................................real life stuff. Like business. No class for that for me. :(

I once had a pedofile for a teacher. He taught Anatomy/Physiology. It was bad from day one, you could see his eyes follow all the girls. He treated all the guys like **** and always treated the girls nicer. By the end of the year, everyone hated him. In just this year, he married one of his ex-students from a few years back, its pretty sick. He is 40 and she is 25....she was married until he had an affair and broke up the marriage. I don't know how people like this even teach.

like: all subjects
what i dont really enjoy: Catholic Christianity
What i need to work on: math (getting it to the best grade), english

Hate: Math
Love: Philosophy, English as a subject

HATEEEE english. booo on my stuipd B semseter for that class this semester!

Hateeee history! boo on my 89 semester avg!

loveee calculus . loveeee french. looooove orchestra.

There was pretty random rav, but all the same very disturbing....

Usually, if i don't like a subject, it's because of the teacher. I've hated math all my life because my teachers were so awful, but this year my teacher is pretty nice and teaches in a way that I understand, so I'm learning to like it.

This year I don't like English. I can never win with that teacher! If I don't participate in class discussions, she gets mad at me. If I do participate, she gets mad at me because she doesn't agree with my opinions.
PE's intolerable too.

For 11 years I've convinced myself that ALL science was impossible for me... I never, ever even tried in science because it has been the one subject which I don't understand AUTOMATICALLY. And therefore it's hard and I should hate it. This year I've come to crave the challenge of science. It's not natural for me. I don't just understand concepts easily... but now that's the reason that I love it.

I've always been very Social Science oriented and now I'm starting to hate it, which freaks me out because I told all my colleges I wanted to be a Political Science major. I still like politics and economics and geography and history and all that... but it's way too easy for me now. I can memorize and apply and organize all the information way too easily for it to be enjoyable at this point.

Along with SS, I used to enjoy math. Not so much anymore- too easy for me. It doesn't matter how hard the material is, nothing at this point has challenged me. I guess I used to enjoy the subjects that were easy for me... but now it's just boredom. And the one class that used to bore me - English - is now one of my favorites. Oy.

as i read through the threads at least half of the people have problems in english.. but .. who knows?

I hate, HAAAAAAAAATE, AP US History and Economics.

I love AP World History, Latin (depending on the teacher, but the subject is amazing), and AP Art History.

HAAAAAAAAAAATE AP Calculus

I really like AP US History
