where and how will we find out what textbook we need?

<a href=“Sign in with your UT EID - Stale Request”>Sign in with your UT EID - Stale Request;

Assuming you’ve already registered, a list from the co-op should be available through that link.

[BIGWORDS.com](http://www.bigwords.com/) searches almost everywhere for the cheapest books.

wow these links r amazing :DDD
thank you so much :D

On the course schedule, you can click “View textbooks for this course” once you have clicked on a specific course. From there, the UT Coop website will list your textbooks, if the professor has typed them in.

You can buy from the Coop, or my favorite is Half.com, they have good prices.

If your course lists a lot of books that are required/optional/alternative, I would recommend waiting until you get your syllabus and let the professor tell you what books are really required.

Question- Has anyone bought the international edition of a textbook instead of the regular U.S. edition? Is their any difference besides the soft cover?

It depends on the textbook. I used the international version for ACC 311, and it matched up perfectly, most do. Also teachers editions can be cheaper, and they are the same with additional material, actually.

The only downsides to those are that they are harder to sell back to people after the semester is over, although they are usually very cheap. I actually made a profit buying a teachers edition for $50 and selling it for $65 at the end of the semester.

How are they harder to sell? Same content, just soft cover?

People don’t like buying international/teacher’s editions. They don’t understand that it’s exactly the same.

Also some websites like Half.com don’t like you listing them, and will take down the listing if they notice.
