well we all live in different time zones… so if someone in Chicago got his/her emails at 9:00/9:30am, and I got mine at 10:00/10:30am (I live in VA & am 1 hour ahead of Chicago), then didn’t we technically receive them at the same exact time?

@ 10:26. I think everyones reading into phrasing and timing a little too much. Relax

To clear things up, the same letter is sent to everyone. The content of the letter, even all that stuff that could sound discouraging and “imply rejection” has been up on the site for a while, so don’t worry!

Ah… I just sent myself an email to verify. Apparently, the time it says the email was sent is off by 5 hours.

Sooo… I received my PIN/pw at 10:27 am. WHEW.

i got mine at 10:20 EST [NJ]

Does it really matter what time you get your pin and pw…?
In light of the post about accepted, deferred, and rejected letters being sent out in batches?

yeah…i thought they were sent in batches but everyone was sent their pins at the same time

there was just server/internet lag that delayed the arrivals of the emails

Doubt it. It seems like the majority of people got theirs at 1026, minus one who got his around 9 and a few who got theirs around noon.

^ but time zones have to be taken into account, right?

Yep. I got mine at around 10:26 EST. I’m from NoVA.

I don’t think there’s a correlation though. At least I wouldn’t think so.
