What to bring to Boarding School

But it really bugs me for some reason if the whole room is just covered in posters. I'm not sure why. I'd have to find a way to frame them, but still have them be light enough to be stick-tack it to the wall.

hmm i only have disney star posters. lol. hahaha my best friend put up a porn poster in her room cause she's bi. the pic was of 2 females...naked. lol. wonder what would happen if i did that. not that i would.

Yes, she did that because she's bi, and because only people with less common sexual orientations put up porn! I'm glad you can at least admit she's your best friend though

I love it when peoples rooms are covered in posters, photographs, etc... It makes it look so personal. Like Juno's room in Juno... I watched that movie like 80 times this weekend. I think I'll bring my panda bamboo scroll, my rorouni kenshin tapestry thingy, and my misty may treanor poster, and my collection of random paramore pictures.
My series collections, definitely. All my Tamora Pierce, Harry Potter, Scott Westerfield, Chibi Vampire, Chobits books... My weirdest thing would have to be my obsession with manga/anime (even though I'm no fangirl, I do like it!) and my collection of how to draw manga books... I even have an original Japanese one!

Thinglost, You could make paper "frames" and tape them to the posters, then sticky them to the walls. That's what I did in my college dorm room.

I think Loomis Allows mini fridges. I'm not sure about exeter or Taft

Exeter, and a lot of schools, do not allow mini fridges unless you have a doctors note (medicine that needs to remain cold) or another reason of detrimental importance. This is because of the Green Cup challenge- trying to keep the school more energy efficient.

Thanks neatoburrito. Do they sell the cardboard ones?

suppose to be a joke

I just made them. You could probably buy mattes (mats, matts) and use those as frames.

oooh a fridge. now THAT would be nice

Yes, it would be! Too bad the schools I'm applying are Nazis with things such as those luxuries... ;)

Vitamin water, fortunately, does not need to be cold. That stuff is my CRACK.

Really? My CRACK = um.... WHITE OUT sniff sniff

I love vitamin water I usually drink like 3-4 bottles a day which probably isn't very healthy

I love V8 and whipped cream. Not together of course.

That would taste horrible
You know what's really good?
Egg rolls.I could live on egg rolls and vitamin water

I love vitamin water. The best unhealthy snack combination is doritos and pepsi. They are just made for each other!

What kind of food would you bring? Like nonperishables to stick under your bed when you miss dinner.

Microwavable noodle cups, fer sure, especially if there's a community microwave in the dorm.
Vitamin water and bottled water.
The occasional pepsi. <3
And, for sure, poptarts. Looots of poptarts.

YES you have to have poptarts and skittles they're amazing too. We're all going to gain like 29 pounds

Not me, are you kidding? Hardcore volleyball, no sleep, and stress mean I will LOSE weight. I only gain weight when I sleep too much, and don't have a sport.

Plus emotional anorexia: When you are stressed/upset/freaked, you don't eat. I get that a lot, haha.

Some people gain weight when their stressed though. :D I guess it could work both ways.
