<p>hey all! im going to be attending NYU in the fall as a freshmen.
Since im in Tisch, not CAP but playwrights, i just was wondering what do i need to bring?
What do kids wear to acting class?
And dancing?
And what sorts of shoes/random props/ect should i bring??</p>

<p>My daughter is in Stella Adler and she needed dark plain rehearsal and movement clothes. I bought her a lot of long and short black T shirts and black leggings. She also needed a long rehearsal skirt. She uses her black jazz shoes a lot.</p>
<p>To the original poster: this is something that you also can ask your email mentor. By now, you have probably gotten an email from a student who is a Playwrights' Horizons student, and he or she may very well be able to tell you what kids wear/need, etc. in studio classes. Congratulations on your acceptance to NYU Tisch and PH!</p>
<p>Yeah, talk to your mentor as it varies for each school. From what I hear you will be wearing a lot of bare feet at Playwrights!</p>
