I know this is kind of early, but I (really) like planning ahead, so. I’m worried that when it comes time to pack for college I’ll forget a bunch of important things- I already know what I’ll probably need in terms of clothes (which for me will probably just be my black skinny jeans and band shirt collection. And sweaters and pyjamas and everything like that of course) and I’m pretty sure I’m good with figuring out what decorations to bring (as I love decorations), but what practical items would I need to bring? The university I would be interested in has townhouses instead of dorms for first years, so they have fully-functioning kitchens and 4-6 people. I’m not sure if that changes anything? I just am kinda lost on what necessities I would need. ^~^’
@DangerDays here are some things that I think are useful but easily overlooked:
*Formal clothing (e.g. suit/tie/dress shoes, etc.)
*Important documents such as IDs, passport, insurance cards, checkbook, medical/dental history, etc.
*Some basic tools (e.g. wrench, Philips and flathead screwdrivers, Allen wrenches) - you never know when they’ll come in handy.
*Cooking supplies that you won’t be purchasing while there
There are lots of other useful items that I omitted simply because they’re pretty common/hard to forget, or because it might be better to purchase them while at your dorm/townhouse.
A five gallon jug of gasoline.
