What to do after march 10?

What will you do after the big day? Arrange your spring break ? summer travel or camps?

I would hope that everyone would buy a large box of Kleenex to wipe their tears of joy! ;)

jump up and down screaming.

March 10 is ruining my vacation plans! Well, not March 10, but the revisits. I can go to this Civic Week thing in DC run through Northwestern CTD, but it's my first week of spring break, which is also the week of revisits. During the same week, I could go to New Orleans through my school for community service. In case I don't get in anywhere, I could apply late through these programs, but they may be filled.

ya, revisits! Do we have to book hotels in advance?

Hah. I have a huge HUGE list. Starting from when I get my acceptance letters.
SCENARIO: "We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted to...(Lville, Hotchkiss, SGS, MPS)"

Scream

Faint

Hug my family

Cry after I realize what I'm giving up

Fall Asleep

Wake-up and tell ALLL my friends. And my boyfriend. Yikes.

Give the news to my teachers. Ask for their opinions.

Call my extended family. Break the good news :)

Beautify myself :p

Begin wearing pajamas to school and stop caring about my hair.

Tell EVERYONE what I REALLY think of them (since I'm leaving).

Love life.

Have a huge freshman house par-tay in my basement.

^^BOOYAH. Thats the plan.

cricket, you are crazy !

Like a fox.

Hahahah Crickett =]

I'm going to Indonesia for a community service project...
When are revisits for most schools???

I'm really worried about you two. (Nelly, crickett) ;)

Why would your "friends" not want you to get in?

whahooooo!!! crickett and nelly, Bikini Babes Extraordinaire!!! (it has a nice ring to it don't you think?)

thank you for your worry padfoot, i assure you i will think back on it as i start the climb. :) lol

We'll see who is laughing when nelly and I are shown on TV as the first swimclad girlies to make it to the top of mt. everest and then subsequently admitted to a mental institution!!

HAHAHAHAH
thats a great hook for your schools, guys ;]
i'm sure noone has done it before...

hmmmmm, crickettm, i didn't think of that!! I believe i shall inform exeter immedtaitely of my plans to climb mt. everest in a bikini with a random person i met on the internet, that will get me in for sure!!!! LOL. thx for excellent idea lala!

On March 10 last year, after we knew which schools had accepted my child, I immediately made the complicated Rubrik's cube-like scheduling arrangements for the revisits. She wanted to revisit 4 schools, and they had overlapping revisit days, etc. She ended up being away from her own school for about 8 days and got really behind in work. So plan ahead with your teachers for your away time for revisits, if you are going back to say, more than 2 schools, and try to work ahead or at least be really prepared to get work done while you are also revisiting schools. Sorry to be so practical! I think otherwise, our family high-fived my daughter and we went out to dinner to celebrate the embarrassment of riches.

Momtoanundecided, thanks for the practical advice !
