what to do after screwing up summer research :/

<p>i struggled w/ personal issues and REALLY screwed up my undergrad summer research this yr. my mentor remained cordial but it's obvious he got ****ed at my imconpetence. ive since gotten back on track and am applying for research/internships nxt summer. ive also switched to another engr. major (not because of the incident).</p>

<p>should i even list my research experience? i dont want my mentor to reference me... thanks all!</p>
