Yeah...my meal plan doesn't exist anymore :-) But...back in the Transfer Center days, that's what we did.

What meal plan do most people get? I tend to eat a lot (don't worry I work out like crazy too), so I picked House Golden... hope that should sustain me through the semester!

haha...you'll be fine :-)

@diehldun: Hahahaha.. That one is the ultimate meal plan.. I think you will be fine :)

@dewdrop87: Your meal plan still exists.. Just not for West Campus Housing System.. And it's 14 meals per week.. :D

Ohhhhh....I mixed them up. I had the 14 meal plan...but it was too much. So..whatever the 10 meal plan is is the one I had

I've heard that you're allowed to upgrade your meal plan within the first few weeks of the semester. The same can't be done in reverse, so it may be wiser to opt for the cheaper plan and order upwards if you feel your tummy needs it.

yup...that's what I did!

Had the Golden Bear...it was too much so I went to 7 meals...it was too little so I went to 10.

smart cookie!

Okay.. After the long posts about the internet.. hehehe.. let's go back to the question that I had for the main reason I posted this thread.. :D

Anyone gets any new news??

Oh..but about food...for West Campus it didn't say anything about "___ meals per week" so..how many meals do we get? It said "Unlimited Access to dining halls, $250 in Big Red Bucks, and 50 Meals Per Semester to Other Dining Halls"

So..umm...can anyone explain?

You get unlimited meals in the dining hall for your house. You have 50 meals per semester should you choose to go to another dining hall (Appel, RPCC, etc..) and you have $250 to spend at the a la carte facilities or on campus convenience stores.

I second what dewdrop87 said :) hehehe..

So we can eats as many time as we want in our dining halls a day? Is the food good and is their a selection/variety and/or limit to how food we can get each time we go?

I believe you can eat as many times as you want, and Cornell gets high rating on the food on-campus.. So, no need to worry.. About selection and variety.. You can go to the Dining - Dining Home and see what they have there.. If you go to one of the West Campus houses then go to the page for the house that you are going, then you can see what they have or you can see other houses' too.. :)

How far away is West from central campus?

dewdrop87, so just to clarify: with the house meal plan(s), we can eat unlimited in our own house (for me, Keeton), but it's not unlimited in other West houses (Cook, Becker, Bethe, etc.)?

The meals say "unlimited access to meals during designated service periods within the West Campus House System" or "3 meals per week at any House System dining unit" so I'm fairly positive you can dine at any of the houses. Gives a little variety.

Bump bump.. :D

Did anyone get their summer reading book? What else did you get from Cornell other than the acceptance package??

There's summer reading?!? I thought I was done with high school, haha
