I'm pretty sure I want to be in animal welfare. I LOVE animals and unlike a vet, I want to help them through rescue in cruelty cases and such.

I want to go to Penn State because of the great academics, not main because I would die at that big of a school, but one of the smaller satellite campuses, Berks. But I'm having a hard time deciding what I should major in. That campus offers a BS in Biology and Life Science, but the course list and descriptions are quite similar...The only thing is Bio has a specific animal physiology course, unlike L/S. Then there's also a AS in Agriculture Business offered, which could be relevant. My question is, which major would be more beneficial for what I want to do?

BTW, I'm a senior in high school now and want to apply before the Nov. 30 early admission deadline.
