what to do with all the test prep books after i'm done with exams?!

am i the only person facing the problem of having too many test prep books in my room? what do you guys do with those books after you're done with the tests? it feels like such a waste to throw them away since many of them weren't even used.

burn it when you get your results back in may 26th

I would recommend that you wait until the wintry months.

Sell them. I’m sure a lot of younger students would love to buy them for cheaper than what they have on Amazon…

You could always give them to me :)

Donate them to an urban public school.

Share them in some way… a younger friend or sibling, school college counselor, school library, craigslist, perhaps even a juvenile detention facility or homeless shelter. Do not burn them! My S received many prep books from previous users, now he’ll pass them forward.

Give them to friends? That’s what I did.

This also sounds good.

I always sell them so I’d get back at least some money. Helps covering for next year’s study guides.

why would i burn them?
the thing for donating them is that i’m in a boarding school in ct, basically in the middle of no where. it’s a bit hard for me to give them away to other schools…
and i don’t have younger siblings.
i do want to get some money out of them. because they did cost me quite some money…
how can i sell them though… ergh

You can sell them through Amazon.

Amazon will buy them back from you for about 1/4 of the price.

@DrSteve, do you know if it’s a complicated process?

Yeah buy would they still buy them back even if all the practice tests have been done and all?

When I was done with the SAT II’s, I gave some of the books to my classmates/friends who were about to take the test, and the others - to the school.

I am going to the same with the SAT I books as well. :)

I just don’t feel like selling them, especially when they can be useful to someone else.
