What to do with scores like these?

A. I did better than 1.3 million people

B. I’m 15

C. International student

D. 1 year ago I knew only cat/dog

E. my superscore is 1690

F. I’m taking the TOEFL in Jan 8, 2011

G. I’m taking the SAT in Jan 22, 2011

Suleyman, if you want to be a pretentious d!ck, at least have the stats to back yourself up.

Stop being a bunch of jerks and leave the guy alone -__-

Is this a conclusion from your own life experience?

^Yes, it is.

Wow. I’m impressed.

Seriously, Suleyman, calm down. A lot of internationals have had to learn English in addition to their own language(s), me included. So let me tell you this: learning does not entitle you to anything, especially since you are quite far from actually mastering the language. (That is a diplomatic understatement of what I initially wanted to write.) The advances that you are making are commendable but nothing extraordinary - it is relatively easy to improve from the lower ends of the SAT section bands.

The point I want to make is simple: you have no right to be an arrogant, smug brat. Therefore, don’t be. You do not know everything there is to know about English; you are, in fact, far from it. Therefore, don’t act like you do. And when people offer a piece of advice to you, accept it and don’t f*ing act like you know better because you don’t.

That said, I concur with an earlier poster who said that some normal reading could do wonders for your CR score. Try the New York Times - or The Economist, if you are feeling particularly smug (because it will tend to sober you up). Try talking about the articles you read with someone else.

Also, try to hold your arrogance and self-righteousness at bay at least in your application, if not on CC. That adorable pair of those personal qualities of yours may prove to be the largest obstacle to your admission so far.

(My apologies for the language. I have been on the sidelines of this forum for an extended period of time - and resisted the urge to write something like this for most of it.)

I want to say that all posters other than Suleyman95 refrain from making invectives + Suleyman95 be more patient and modest and open to suggestions

ok. I aim for 2000+ in January SAT, so I will practice a lot. (as I see this all)

I’ll memorize new words to increase my CR score. So, the aim for January SAT is to improve my Math and CR.

Suleyman I really suggest that you actively seek help from others as well. As you can see already, I’ve been admitted to Johns Hopkins, which has a pretty rigorous curriculum and I have to focus on my own classwork in an advanced pace and I have my own goals (as i mentioned in my previous post that I won’t frequent CC as much as I had before). I am pretty sure that smart people like gensis and 314159265 can help you out in your SAT.

Lastly I am sorry that I won’t–and cannot–help with most of your SAT/TOEFL preparation, partly due to my hacked MSN account but mostly due to my independent studies.
