<p>Definitely wanted to give them away. Just wanted to make sure it wasn’t too tacky to give used books like this away. Feels different than usual used book as they are ‘used up’ in some way.</p>

<p>Our counseling center wouldn’t accept them, so just be sure to inquire first. </p>
<p>For donations – since nobody likes to get a marred gift second-hand anonymously, when donating you might staple a post-it note like this onto front cover: “a few practice tests taken pp # - #. Other pages in good/used condition.” Then it’s no surprise or disappointment to the lucky finder.</p>
<p>I gave a grocery bag filled with prep books to our College Center at the HS. While there, I picked up AP prep books that my son could use later this year. Too bad I’m finally getting smart: my youngest is a senior in HS.</p>
<p>Try Chegg.com. You can sell, buy or rent textbooks from there.</p>
<p>If your school has Upward Bound, check and see if the person in charge could pass along the books to students in the group.</p>
<p>I like the idea of donating them to the high school. Or, if you are in a city with a Half Price Books store, they’ll buy them from you and sell them to someone who can use them. Easier than selling them online.</p>
