what to do!

okay, I'm a senior, and I have NO idea what I want to do!.... I know I dont want to do anything with science... I'm not bad at it and got A's in all the science classes i took... just nothing has interested me... I am good at math and english, but dont think i could have a major in any math field.. I am also pretty good at history.... but i dont know what careers id be good at or like!.. any suggestions?

Math is a really sweet major.
Do you like physics? cuz it is too
And remember you can always take classes on the side or minor

And the reason you need to choose now is what?"??

i dont really know if i like physics or not... my school doesnt have much to offer, and students who took physics in the past said that they didnt like it, mainly because of the teacher... i dont even really know what physics is about, and i'm not a super genious like most people on here that it would come easily to me

i dont have to choose now, but i start applying for colleges in september and i would just like to have some remote idea of what id like to do so colleges i apply to have a certain major

Chances are that even if you select something now you will change your mind. I think lots of students feel compelled to make a choice but my suggestion is to chill until you have one year of college to think about.

thanks.... it just seems hard.... everyone my age thinks they have their life all planned... they know what they want to do, they know where they want to go to college.. me.. i have no idea... i didnt even start worrying until about this month when i started realizing that i have to apply for colleges soon and i dont even have any serious ideas

You can use other criteria for selecting a college. You can choose a geographic area, say a city or rural, close to another interest you have say museums or sports you like. There are many criteria to consider other than the programs offered. I picked my school because it was near a major airport, major league baseball, great restaurants, three major cities for arts and other fun. I mean your list could go on and on. A friend of mine picked CA because she always wanted to be there for awhile. You would be surprised what things you can come up with when you start listing what you like to do.
