What to I do when a university asks for a revised petition of your SOP ? Should I start over or just edit the document including the requirements?

Hi. I’m Cynthia and I’ve written an SOP for a senior. He wanted a readmission and he was asked by the executive committee to revise and resubmit the SOP including the difficulty he faced to complete the course (in detailed even though the reason was mentioned) and how would he overcome the issue in future if he’s readmitted.
The question here is should I be writing a new one or just edit the same with all the requirements? (Coz I’ve been writing a few but this is new to me. Please help me out)

How Do I Change My Username?

When you first create an account on College Confidential, you have to create a username. By default, if you use your Google or Facebook account, your username will include your first and last name.
